I've played football for Devon & Plymouth Pilgrims (I played at Wembley when Plymouth Argyle had their play-offs win in 1996) - I'm a 3rd degree Black Belt Instructor in Taekwondo (I taught Martial Arts for over 35 years) - I've played cricket for Devon for over 12 years alongside playing for Whitchurch & Plymouth Ladies Cricket Clubs and I ran the streets - literally & physically - for over 45 years whilst I gathered and maintained my fitness levels to achieve Olympic standard fitness. I spent most of my sporting years coaching and mentoring other people to target and achieve their own fitness and sporting targets. I've played hockey for Plym Valley Hockey Club.
I retired from local government following a very enjoyable 28 1/2 years where my career spanned the Public Protection Service & Leisure Departments. I Spent over 15 years actually being employed as 'The Dog warden' …. The passion I have for animal care has led me to start my own business With it I can now offer people my experience, skills and knowledge in their home caring for their pets
I have trained in animal care holding certificates in Dog Microchipping / Dog Handling & Dog and Human 1st Aid. I have a City & Guilds Pet Shop Management & Animal Care qualifications which I studied for over A 2 year Period.
I am currently studying for other qualifications in the belief I can better my business. I have a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet care. I am DBS cleared and fully insured to carry out all of my service promises. I am a member of NARPSUK ( National association of Pet sitters & dog walkers ) I am Human Dementia aware and will be happy to discuss my bespoke service with you in the hope I can accommodate you and your pets needs within the 'Home-instead' boarding arrangements.
